We know how hectic these first few weeks can be, so we are sending a quick note to share with you a few exciting changes and updates KartHost™ will be debuting in 2018. This year we really want to focus on connecting our customers to as many resources as possible to guide them through their digital journey in creating and building their web presence.
FIRST 2017: A LOOK BACK
- We rebuilt our website from the ground up using Beaver Builder READ MORE
- For our EZWP Builder clients, we added Beaver Builder Themer and Astra Themes to their arsenal of website building tools
- KartHost™ traveled the country last year, having the pleasure of meeting entrepreneurs in Irvine, Sacramento, San Antonio, Atlanta & Nashville
- Locally, Gail served as the Chair Elect in the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce, and started 2018 as its Chairman of the Board (congrats Gail!)
NEW YEAR, NEW NEWSLETTER
Once we completed our website do-over project, we took a look at our newsletter and decided it was time for an upgrade as well. At the end 2017, we redesigned its layout, making our newsletter more streamlined and concise.
We will still aim to send out a newsletter every month or so focusing on helping you build your web presence. By choosing a monthly schedule we will strive to deliver relevant, timely content and ensure your inbox is never overwhelmed.
We will be including things like:
- WordPress updates and how-to’s
- Current web design articles
- Tips and tricks for building/updating your website
- Cyber security threats and trends
Instead of writing detailed previews of our most current blog posts, we’re going to simplify the newsletter with quick blurbs on what you can expect to learn when you choose to follow the links. Sign up for our newsletter below and never miss a digital beat.
CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT PODCAST
Another new feature we are excited to get off the ground in 2018, is telling our customer’s stories. By sharing their unique challenges, strategies and solutions we hope to inspire, educate and enlighten others. We plan to spotlight our customers by conducting relaxed, fun interviews via podcast. We will celebrate their successes, share their secrets and connect you with relatable advice to help you along your own digital journey.
We will then transcribe the interviews in our blog and feature them in our monthly newsletter. If you are interested in sharing your story please contact us!
KARTHOST’S SOCIAL NETWORK
We will also be debuting a KartHost™ Community to further connect our customers. Think Facebook-esque, but built for discussions and tips on everything from your own website to WordPress, domain names, KloudEmail and just running a business in general. Our idea is to open up the floor to our customers, disseminate information and start a dialogue. Chances are if you are facing a particular challenge, someone in the community has already been there, done that and can share their perspective along with what worked and what didn’t. By creating these types of conversations, we are aspiring to create another resource of knowledge for you. We are aiming to have this live by the end of the first quarter.
We welcome your feedback and ideas in these early planning stages for the community. We also are searching for just the right name of our community. Feel free to send us your ideas below.
KARTHOST™ DIRECTORY
Instead of compiling a plain ole client portfolio to show who our customers are, we want to up our technology game and create a better SEO experience for our clients and promote them instead. So we will be adding a business directory. We haven’t quite made our decision on how our clients’ listings will be added, but we are leaning towards our clients creating their own listing in our directory. By listing your business, you will reap the benefits of some serious SEO juice – think higher rankings on the search engine results pages and becoming more findable online in general.
