How To Blog Using Content Curation

Content curation, what is that? Content curation is hand picking the best content on the web, adding your personal touch to it (think commentary, reviews, etc…) and sharing it with your audience on your blog or website. We recommend seeking out content that is relevant and meaningful to your users, while also aligning with your brand and image. Bonus points for curating material that is “trending”.

So, how does this benefit me? Want more content on your blog? Can’t find the time to create it? Curating content will save you time, leading to more posts, leading to a boost in value on your blog. The more you are connecting with your audience, the more trust (and traffic) you are building.

“Quite simply, providing fresh and relevant content in an organized way, improves SEO for the site it lives on.” – Quote from a Curata 2012 Content Curation Adoption Survey

Who is this for? New to blogging?Already earned your professional content creator stripes? The best part about content curation is anyone can do it. Are you looking to bring fresh ideas to your users, but find it difficult to continuously create your own? Ding, ding, ding. Content curation could be your answer.

Ok, I’m in. How does it work?

Curation Guide

Where do I find the content (step 1)? Think you need to spend countless hour surfing the web seeking out the content your want to curate? Think again. (That would significantly defeat the purpose of saving you time in coming up with new posts for your blog). Here is an article we found very useful:

I studied Journalism at Texas A&M, c/o 2005, where I wrote for the college newspaper, as well as the for the College of Architecture's various publications. Upon graduation, I owned a direct sales company and, as the author of my own webpage, press releases and overall public relations, I continuously realized the importance of building my company's brand and web presence. While I'm still learning the technical side of email, website building and web hosting, I have partnered with KartHost in order to bring Roy and Gail's extensive knowledge directly to you, making the information as relatable as possible.
